Likes to mess with stuffs.

I believe especially in New York, anything that looks odd in the sky is bad news these days, especially if it's going to spew toxic stuff just to promote an alien invasion.

Though, I must admit, if it wasn't such an alarm raiser and health hazard, I think it would have actually been kind of cool to see, especially when it's on such a grand scale. Imagine all the tweets!

It's interesting to note that according to the Washington Post, ABC got the publicity for free anyway as a result announcing and then canceling the stunt.

Makes me think of the stunt Cartoon Network pulled in trying to promote the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Movie.....harmless fun seems to be a casualty of the post 9/11 era. :(

I've always thought that M$ could do something along those lines when they release a new Xbox and just get a bunch of X's written in the sky. If it didn't freak people out then it would get them talking on the internet about what's going on and get more casual people aware of the system launch. I always figured the freak out factor is too big of a risk.

Still it seems like sky writing would get people talking.
