This pilot had been already broadcast a few weeks earlier.

Natalie Martinez is kicking butt.

One part of the SCI Fi is time travel, in a way like Arrival. Another component of Sci Fi is evolutionary advancement, a super race.

Tonight is the second episode.

The Sci Fi aspects provide encouraging potential.

Now they are doing future flashbacks, akin to Continuum. And bits of Reaver/Miranda/Pax.

Kelley Missal stands out a bit, I don't recall her before now.

I've been watching this most of the season, might have missed a few shows.

I had thought that last week's Ep felt like Season Finale, but it just had some heart-wrenching twists. Looks like 2 more eps to go. This is the show I've been following most consistently. The showtimes and showdays seem to jump around.

They have not really dwelled on the Tech, the Sci-Fi components very much, just using them for plot devices. This has allowed the story to not get tripped up easily on these subjects, but I was hoping for more.

I had been concerned it would be just overdramatic and Hollywood machinations and little adherence to normalcy or sense. But after several episodes it settled into less of the contrived or convoluted story type, and the evildoers fell into the background a bit. Some parts of the story I wish would move faster, but some of the revelations I find worthwhile. The constant or percieved backstabbing has toned down a little more now.

I have been enjoying it, and the cast is fine. Not quite Firefly, but then what is? If you haven't been following, I expect the DVD will be binge-worthy. Or else catch the remaining eps, they do a decent recap at the beginning of each show.
I do hope for a nother season.

I do still get a vibe of Arrival, both with time travel and with the mutual benefit angles.

Tonight another forward flashback, to 2194. At the Threshold, coming to now, and what went wrong, why.

Much more direct intertwining of the storylines now. Not so much of placid progression of the parallel storylines.
