Hey there. Just ran across this utility and it's quite handy for some things and figured one of you programy/cody types out there might make a widget for the rest of us lazy bums, or two, or three :)

Nice little program that Konfabulator.

I made a Serenity countdown widget, as you requested. You can see a picture of it at http://www.fireflyfans.net/sunroomitem.asp?i=3187 . I can't load the actual widget, 'cause BlueSun won't take it (pictures only). But if you'd like one, I can email it to ya'. It's only 18KB.

This first one is just a rough draft. I hope to do better in the near future...

Just started up your count down and it's quite spiffy. Not sure how they are made so a slightly higher res. serenity logo would be cool, and possibly just the logo with the days to go with no colored background and cast. But it's great as is, thanks a lot. Hope some other folks try it out as well. Keep up the awsome work :)

I've taken the liberty of sending you version 2, to your previously supplied email addy. Is that one better?

I've likewise been thinking of doing one with only the Serenity logo, in order to minimize the screen real estate taken. (Great minds think alike, and so do ours.) But, it's very hard to cut the crew out of the picture, somehow. I mean, I can do it; but, I just can't do it... I'll work up a little nerve to make that cut and maybe a different code bit I'm looking at, and hopefully deliver the final version within the next day or two...

After that, I'm thinking of a version with the logo and a single character. You know, Jayne version, Mal version, et cetera; but I will probably only produce them on request, to avoid being a bother and/or wasting time I could better spend grooming my navel...

I'd be happy to attach one to email; but the best way would be for me to just stick it in the BlueSun Room, if somebody(s) could bend Haken's ear about letting me post it there. I just don't know that it's possible/desirable from Haken's perspective...

File has been scanned and found to be virus free, using Symantec AV, def file 3/1/05 rev. 8.
