So, I've got a whole bunch of people coming over tomorrow and they know they're going to watch a movie, but unsure of what movie. I'm going to show the first episode of Firefly (Serenity, not Train Job). Any helpful hints that will make them love it as much as me, aside from the fact that the show speaks for itself?

Uh, free food and drink always helps, especially if it's the good stuff. I got my sister to watch Trash while we waited for or Indian to be delivered.

If you had a Blue Sun shirt I'd say wear that too. When they see the containers at Eavesdown Docks they can muse: 'Hey, Valley's got a shirt with that Blue Sun thingee on it.'

Other than that, if you can have one or two Browncoats as part of the audience, they'll be buzzed as soon as you break out the DVD, and can handle any other questsions your recruits may have. There's always questions.
