Sometime ago,the Sci-fi channal was going to re-broadcast firefly within the same week for around 150,000. What happen? When I checked there was no firefly at all.

Either they lied, or they are going to pick it up in the off season... I don't know what. But certainly it isn't re-airing now.

Ultimately, Fox didn't make the deal with SciFi. There went our letter-box version, too.
