So, when my boss told me of his pet peeve for science fiction shows/movies that constantly used sound in space, I knew I had to show him Firefly. I loaned him disk 1 on Thursday, and he came back to me this morning with a "It was rather good." Of course, I am a little weary that he only finished Serenity and the Train Job over a 3 day weekend. I'll count him as a convert, though, giving me 9, total.

And, of course, that's before I head off to college and meet loads of new people, who have never seen Firefly...

One final note: My summer job is at an elementary school. I was walking by a poster on the wall, and noticed the name of one girl there out of the corner of my eye, only to see it was actually "Kylee." Oh, so close.

I had to f*ing bribe my wife to watch the pilot, but she then loved it and watched the rest and is now entering that period where you realize you're all out of Firefly.

She's not an unreserved convert, she still says the "old west stuff" is stupid crap, but she doesn't care because of the characters.
