I'm new to this community and an even newer convert to Firefly. I live in England where the show hasn't hit prime time yet, so I took a risk and followed up magazine DVD recommendation. I thought it was excellent. It's about time sci-fi came a little more down to earth :) A real shame it had to end so quickly. I'm also a musician and take my inspiration from any where I can get it, in this case this combination of scruffy cowboys and space seemed to spark something. I've recorded a song I think captures the atmosphere of the show pretty well, (apart from the fact I'm English, and my early attempts at singing in an American accent were frankly ridiculous!) it's sort of Leonard Cohen in space playing slide guitar... If any one fancies a listen, mail me and i'll try and send it to you. It's about 5 meg so if anyone's got a site I could upload it to, that would be great also :)

I have been waiting for some original music based off of Firefly to come along.
