Second episode aired tonight and I'm liking it. Premier episode was powerful, but tonight I think gave us a glimpse of what this thing is gonna look like from here on. Has sort of a Twin Peaks kind of vibe, but may prove to be even more darker and demented.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I haven't watched it yet but I am interested in checking it out. Next week, when nothing else that I watch is on, they are going to repeat the first two episodes before the third, so maybe I'll catch it then.

Watched the pilot, and I'm intrigued. They cast Norman pretty damn well, I think.

I'll likely check out NBC's "Hannibal", too, just to see if it's worth checking out. I don't expect much from network TV anymore; I can't think of a single drama I watch on network. All the good drama has moved to cable and premium channels - Southland, Justified, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, The Americans, Hell on Wheels, Game of Thrones, Dexter, Shameless, etc.

The third episode was a bit strange, even for this show. The good guys turned bad, and the bad guys turned good. And in the middle is Norman, who is definitely whacked. But not as whacked as his mother. Kinda lost the Twin Peaks feel this week, but moved on to something more malevolent and mysterious. I'll be moving on from Budweiser to acid for the next installment.
