Browncoats be ever vigilent! Let Freedom Ring!

Michigan Republican Governor Rick Snyder crosses the RNC by refusing to sign two bills requiring absentee voters produce ID, stating that the laws may cause voter confusion just as the November elections are fast approaching.

Below is the article:

As I was watching MSNBC's news program, the Rachel Maddow show, it was pointed out that this is a trend at various
points across the nation. It is so prevalent that a couple of Republican talking heads have come out and actually stated that the election reforms would get Romney elected president, not to, as they claim, “These reforms will make a good election system even better...."

News Item: PA Republican Mike Turzai on Voter Registration Reform: The truth comes out.

"Voter ID, which is gonna allow Governor Romney to win the state of Pennsylvania, done.”

I shit you not!

There is no real reason for voter-ID laws. Simply stated, voter-ID bills become laws because Republican legislators pass and Republican governors sign them.

The 26 Republican-controlled states (and Rhode Island, the one Democratic state) have, or are about too, enact Voter ID laws. The Department of Justice is looking into Civil Rights and Voting Rights violations. Stay tuned folks, this is not over. Someone is changing the landscape and systematically removing honest, law-abiding and longtime voters from the voting logs......just so happens that it affects mostly democratic voters....."quelle surprise!"

Shiny,

while I agree with you, and find this post interesting and true, it belongs in RWED. It just might upgrade the flame wars there, it surely is a worthwhile topic.

Or perhaps you're avoiding the place because of the level of vitriol there, trying to create an anti-RWED where civilizes discourse can take place. Best of luck, dreamer.

C'mon, post your next thread down there. You would improve the tone of the place, it needs you. Just be sure to wear your bullet proof vest and flame resistant undies.

Not looking to avoid anyone; just wanted to get the word out. Next time I will post there. Then duck and cover.
