It has been reumord that Dark Horse Comics was going to be putting out a graphic novel or comic series about the Serenity and its crew. However it has been shown that they no longer have any interest in the shows potentail for a comic. So since i had the opertunity to be an artist for Marvel Comics, and being the comic lover that i am i was wondering if any people on here would be interested to see a monthly comic strip of Firefly. If so just post on the thread. Xie xie ni.

I would totally read that. I have been wondering why someone hasn't done a graphic novel, or even a series of books. They have books for Smallville, Alias, Star Wars, even Indiana Jones. With our fan base, you'd think that they'd have put out something a long time ago. OR, maybe they alredy have several things lined up, but are holding them beck until they start promoting the movie the general public.

I for one (other) would love a Firefly comic.

Especially since Fray is still up-in-the-air as to when/if it'll come back. Heck, even if Firefly ends up competing with Tales of the Vampires, I'd love it.

I'm more of a novel person myself and like some of the Angel novels and even a few of the Buffy ones (the Angel ones are usually better written than the Buffy ones) so if they were to do any of those I would be up for reading those. As long as they were well written. I'm surprised that some of the Buffy ones were even published. Some of the writers are trying too hard to sound cool or whatever and it shows. NOT good on paper.

But a Firefly novel? Great! Where do I sign up?!

The story line would have to be interesting though, but it could definitely work.

That'd be great! But only if Joss has final say- so on what makes it to print. Be even better if he oversees the actual writing or does it himself.
