"Castle" picked up where it left off last season, it finished 2nd in it's time slot getting over 9 million veiwers.

After 10:30pm, Leno beat the Captain

CSI: Miami had commanding leads with both 18-49, and 18-34, and even Jay Leno beat Castle with 18-34. From 10:30pm the 18-34 ratings were 2.7./8 for CSI: Miami, 1.5/5 for Leno and 1.2/4 for Castle."
