I wouldn't.

One, I'm a Rebel through-and-through. Two, I'm a pilot: I point and laugh at troopers.

Save me a spot in Rogue Squadron.

Or possibly on Mandalore, where the Skirata clan ba'slan shev'la'd to after tendering their resignation.

I would.

In fact, I actually found enforcing Order 66 quite satisfying, because when the Jedi went and turned against their own humanity (or whatever multi-racial-multi-species groups call the living spark within that all sentience derives from) as if it were a weakness, when it fact it was the only purpose for their existence...

They betrayed themselves, and betrayed us all, and it really didn't help that Yoda and his buddies were lying, full of crap as a general rule, and had codified the council into something swiftly becoming a black mark against the universe instead of it's guiding light - in their pathetic fear of the dark side of beings they chose to try to eliminate it (shades of miranda) or deny it rather than work within and learn to control, even channel it - and when they cast out the Grey Jedi and ostracised them for daring to admit this and point it out to them, they sealed their own fate.

Yes folks, the Jedi "had it coming", and I don't feel a whit bad about it.

Me (Clone Commander) - "Light Sabre huh ? I have a chain gun, let's see you block THIS!"
*BRRRRAAPPPTTHHH*

Jedi - "Augh!" *thud*

Honestly though, I prefer the seperatists - what's exactly WRONG with not *wanting* to be part of someone elses empire and deciding to go your own way, eh ?

For preference, the Droideka - slayer of Jedi and slaughterer of common troops alike, and you get to kick back, eat popcorn and watch, instead of risking your own neck.
