I don't know if this has been posted before, as the book has been out for awhile...but M.R. Sellars book The End of Desire, is dedicated to Browncoats -- and he has his main character (a witch/detective) stuck in the hospital, and being happy that at least he found a Firefly rerun to watch.

Cool enough - thanks for the post! I'm not familiar with either the author or the book, but I'll try to remember to keep an eye out for it. Sounds like the kind of thing I like to read for amusement (damn near the only kind of reading I do).

SCHISM

I'm an aspiring writer.
Been at it for 16 years.
Working on something that I plan to aggressively market to publishers and agents and ANYONE who'll listen.
One of the characters has browncoat-ish tenancies, but they're pretty much only noticeable to those who know what to look for.
