Kinda Firefly related - another Variety ad !

Hi all,

Been a lurker for a while and still a big fan of the show.

Another board I hang around dedicated to another show are trying to together a Variety ad to save the NBC show 'Ed' - http://webpages.charter.net/jniner/.

I wasn't around when the Variety ad for Firefly happened, but does anyone know if it made a 'real' difference to the fight ?

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

In answer to your question about the effectiveness of the Variety ad, I don't think we were ever given any indication of how effective it was, if at all. I think it was more a gesture of support for the show, and a thank you to the sponsors.
