A big thrill for me! A "bucket-list" goal if you please....I finally had the extreme pleasure of meeting him. If Nathan wasn't a great actor I swear he could make a great living as a comedian. I met him once and saw him off and on for two days. From the line waiting to meet him to get a signed picture I could hear what he was saying to everyone as they came up. He is hysterical!..He has great funny answers to anything you ask him. He's a hard worker! Non-stop fans approaching & he greets every single one with warmth, a big smile, and humor. In between signing autographs he did individual photo ops, and yesterday he was one of three on a Whedonverse panel....Almost all the questions were to Nathan and lot's of Firefly/Serenity talk. I almost pinched myself that it was real. He mentioned Out Of Gas as his favorite eposiode. He said he knows of no plans for more shows or movies, but said he'd be ready if he gets a call. He had the entire audience in stitches with his humorous banter throughout the panel event. Earlier in the day, while on line to meet him for the 3 autographs I had to get, I was trying to figure out what the hell I was going to say...I went up and said " Pleased to meet ya! I didn't know you were coming to this show? Did you see the floating chandelier in the hallway?". He said " I have something similar in my house." We both laughed and shook hands again. I think everyone (thousands) of folks that met him had a similarly fanatastic experience.

This is so cool. I'm so glad you were able to meet him and it was everything you thought it would be!
I love to hear about great experiences when meeting celebrities. I have read for years that people love working with him because he's so nice and unaffected.
I wish, wish, wish there would be another Serenity!!!
Hope you got lots of pictures.

This FX show was probably the best one I've ever been to. Seated to Nathan's right was Helen Slater ( aka Supergirl, Billie Jean ) and seated to his left was Adam West. A few rows down was George Takei. We just kept hanging around all of them, even after we got our pics and a few minutes of their time. There were dozens of other cool people there including Jake LLoyd, Debra Van Valkenburg ( she was awesome ). We talked for what seemed like a very long time about about Streets of Fire...how they kind of chopped up her part & the fact that so many big stars emerged from that movie. Also talked to her about working with Ted Knight on Too Close For Comfort. She looks great, but let me tell you that Helen Slater is still a goddess!...And very sweet too. I think I also bought some comic books and DVDs too, but my Nathan experience alone was worth the total price of the trip.
