Well this one's another thread bitching about the soundtrack. I understand how "The Hero of Canton" did not make it on but someone was creative enough to figure out how to play it and introduce it to the 'net. Here is my big question: How the Hell has noone made a sound file out of the reprise of "The Hero of Canton"? That piece of music is not only beautiful in and of itself, but it also pulls the eposide together and really pulls on the emotions. I'm just shocked that someone hasn't put it out on their own.

P.S. If you have this song PLEASE let me know where you got it. I ahve been looking for weeks

well, there was a file out there on the cortex a while back by someone who remixed Adam Baldwin singing it in the easter egg on the dvds with the crowd of mudders from the episode. I don't know how to find that though, so I guess I'm just being a tease.

as for the instrumental version, the Bedlam Bards recorded a beautiful rendition of it on their album "On the Drift; Music Inspired by Firefly and Serenity." It's entitled "The Rock garden" and is a lovely guitar ballad-type version instrumental. The cd can be purchased through their website:

that's about as helpful as I can be.

Shiny stuff for not a lot o coin:
