In this category...
I understand Firefly won an Emmy for SFX for the Pilot Serenity, which was not even aired before the show was cancelled.

So, how many TV series have won Emmys for an episode aired after show cancellation,
and/or how many TV series have won an Emmy after being cancelled with only 11 episodes being aired?

I can't think of any, are you guys aware of any?

I can't think of any..

But, I'd like to add never winning an award for the costuming on the show was a travesty.

Whatever award is given for set-building not going to the crew of FF is also a travesty.

I don't normally catch these - are these awards often given to scifi work? I normally figured them to go to more trendy or contemporary work, or period or historical pieces.

I'd be surprised if Star Trek ever got a costume award - not implying that's a comparison to Firefly, but Star Trek uniforms were fairly, umm, uniform.
