This is a couple of weeks old, but what with my moving and exploring T.O. and starting film school and whatnot. . .

The book in question Anime Insider #46 (the one with Beck as the cover story).

Every issue, AI does a completely made-up Casting Call for an anime series to be turned into live-action. This month, the series was Godannar, a particularly fan-servicey mecha action-comedy. Among their casting pics were:

Adam Baldwin as Goh Saruwatari

Charisma Carpenter as Shizuru

Nice to see Whedonverse actors getting recognition, even if it's just from an anime 'zine.
