1: Is it likely that there will be a DVD box set of Drive?

and

2: Does anybody know when Waitress will be released in the UK?

If anybody could answer these I would be really grateful. :)

1. It is highly unlikely that Drive will have a DVD set released. Only 6 episodes were ever filmed. the last 2 will be shown on July 4th from 8-10. Unless the ratings are through the roof, it's done, if it's not already 100% done.
2. Waitress UK release date: 10/08/2007

1. You are exceedingly optimistic. A "box set"? I'd say, more like a single disc. Maybe. I haven't heard anything yet. But knowing Fox, they will attempt to squeeze every last dime from it, so I wouldn't be surprised at a dvd of Drive coming out.

2. UK release of Waitress is Oct 8, 2007 - approximately.

IMDB lists 10th of August. I'm not finding anything elsewhere though so treat this as a potentially accurate rumor rather than confirmation.

I got the date "UK release date: 10/08/2007 " from a UK site. August 10th is a Friday. October 8th is a Monday. I'd say 10th, August is correct.

I forgot that the British write the date opposite of how we write it here in the states.

The road to Hel is paved with good intentions

I'd say there was a good chance Drive will be released on DVD - Fox would be stupid not to. (I just realised that I insinuated FOX wasn't stupid, please forgive me)

Even if there were only a handful of episodes, guess what: Firefly only had 14 (or 15 if you count Serenity as 2)
Wonderfalls had about 13 I think - still got a release
Lone Gunmen the same
And Harsh Realm, which only made 9 episodes, was released

Other shows admittedly would be less likely but this is FOX, and it is a Nathan Fillion show - they know what Browncoats are like.
I'm guessing it will be out on DVD early next year
