I'm just saying, it feels like there is something is should be doing to get this show back on the air. I have pretty much long ago given up on the concept of decent television, so needless to say i did not catch firefly till long after it was canceled, but after watching the show, i feel like there is something i have to be able to do to get this show back on the air. so i was just wondering if there was any significant way i could actually get my voice heard or donate money/time to help this happen?

SHAMELESS

Oooh, I'll be watching this thread in case anybody responds with a way. I don't have one, however. What I will say is this:
If you do find a site claiming to be collecting donations for another series or movie, BE CAREFUL. There are a lot of ways to rip people off, and I've heard of extraordinarily convincing operations (anybody heard about the Bit of Earth thing on the West Coast? It's a LotR thing, so don't know how many know of the scam, but it was enough to convince Sean Astin himself (though Project Elanor still exists, at least)) which have stolen quite a bit of cashy money from folks. Honestly, I'm sticking with the safe plan: "How much more merchandise do I need to buy to get a sequel?" Good luck in your endeavors!

Oh, and another way to show support to get more of the Firefly 'verse:
Watch the reruns on SciFi
Go see Serenity showings whenever they happen (cantstoptheserenity.com - it might be .org, but you'll figure it out)
Write letters to Universal thanking them for the movie and making it clear how much you appreciate the BDM and would definitely watch a BDS
Write letters to different networks pointing out how strong a fanbase Firefly/Serenity has and how much more successful more of this stuff can be if they simply advertise it and show it in gorram order
Blow up F*x (j/k)

I still need to write some letters meself...

------------------------------------------
RPG launcher bought in third world country illegally - $10
Landmines - $50 per
Attack/track dogs bred 1st class - $250-500 per
Highpowered assault rifles - $600 per
The look on your face when I show up on your doorstep with a bigfoot - ... Priceless

"You gotta love that the first pirated HD DVD is the one about space pirates who broadcast a video that the government wants to keep secret.

Can't stop the signal."
