I just found out that TNT's SAVED has not been renewed for another season. If you have never seen it, it is probably the best show I have seen about EMT's and Paramedics. Granted it is a TV Drama, and there is a lot of things put in for the entertainment value, but it really shows what we go through on a daily basis. It shows the highs and lows, and the pratical jokes. I loved this show, because almost every episode I saw, there were things that either I experienced, or someone that I know experienced.
Anyway it is just another example of a great show never being given a real chance, and getting cut after only one season.

I also just realized that it has a tie with Firefly. The actor who plays Harper in Saved, plays one of Inara's hopeful clients on 'Shindig'

OMG!! Yes, honor his honor. Awwwww.

I too loved the show and with the cliffhanger-ish ending I was thoroughly enjoying the wait until the new season began.

My mum and I found out a few weeks ago, that it was not going to be renewed. I didn't say anything, because I was a bit disgusted.

On right after the Closer as well! That was a good block of tv, IMHO.

I haven't actually watched TV since Babylon 5 ended in '98, just DVDs of shows I hear a lot of great things about.

Saved sounds like one to put on my list!

Emergency! was my favorite show as a kid, and Rescue 77 (starring Whedonites Christian Kane & Robia LaMorte) is a show I'd really like to see put on DVD!
