Of course in Firefly it's all for one and one for all, and I hate to draw any boundaries.

That's why I was thinking that with aerosal FLOW BUBBLES we could work out the type of cliques and where they lounge.

Who goes to Loafers Lounge and what do the numbers mean
the Forbiddens, you guys seem sweet. who chats there?
groups I don't know about? mmmf.

how old are you? do you talk about school, stuff in politics, your families, philisophy and poetry, etc.

I KNOW by the time you're here you've foud tens of thousands of fellow browncoats to have your back, but I know some of you have found people your age maybe, or maybe with similar hobbies. etc.

My ideal group, for instance, would not have to be my age (24) but would be a very relaxed group, the only political talk would be in mockery - we'd mostly talk about either great literature, world events (serious ones), film analysis, and might tolerate some mild "relationship" chatter - spouses, kids, parents, etc. without beeing defined by it. And OF COURSE we'd ask questions about Firefly we've been to embarassed to ask before!

Heelllllpppp!

Anyone got a group like that

PS. I'm drunk right now, but entirely convinced that made sense and I hope someone he;ps me. I just want to know what chat room/discussion to try and integrate myself into...

Don't make faces.yq

um, as the instigator of the Loafers Nook(and a poster on the Hidey threads), i can tell you that there is no clique - we'd welcome anyone who wanted to come and hang around with us - and thats all it is, hanging around and talking about anything that crosses our brain pans, there are no rules, 'cept the basic unspoken ones of curtesy, its just a bunch of friends, in a pressure free issue free, happy little thread.

As for integrating yourself, no need, if you have something to say just say it.

I'm pretty sure that the same goes for the Forsaken (though i'm also sure about there being some clause that you have to be firmly on the slippery path to hell to know what they're on about) and all the other 'cliques'.

I've been here for a year now, and in that time i've only known one thread where only one type of people could post and no-one else was welcome (something about 'who here is a christian?') to the point where if you posted you got told to leave. Thats one, and thankfully its dead and buried now, generally, this site is full of the friendliest most accepting folk i've ever known, so just lurk a while and when you want to, say hi and post something.

I do hope you are not hungover, that sucks. travel sickness pills and OJ.

Isn't sanity really a one trick pony, anyway? I mean all you get is one trick, rational thinking! But when you're good and crazy...ooh hoo hoo hoo... the skys the limit!

thank you - surprisingly a rum and coke before bed is the one thing all my doctors' missed in trying to find something to help me sleep. I'm an eaay drunk, no hangover here.

And thanks for the response, I'll just have to be more courageous and give it a shot. If it's where 'the locals' want to be, I wanr to try it out.

Don't make faces.

Well Marina there is always the Pub as well! We just kick back there and take her easy for a while. Any topic is welcome or no topic your choice.

The Forsaken are just a group of good people who don't like being told what is accepted and what is not. Not just for religion but in general. We have a lot of fun roasting s'mores and dancing.

The Imponderables is also a fun thread to join. We discuss male and female issues to help each other not get in so much trouble with SOs.

Good to see you trying to fit in. The fact that you are here at all makes you a perfect fit for any thread you choose.
