Well, Cameron has been doing some serious work on the thing.

Today he and I got some of the templates and woodwork out of the way. There is much much more to do however. I am really impressed with Cameron, he's a natural with working on this stuff. Especially considering he is also full time Air Force here at Nellis AFB.

...

We are going to be in real trouble shortly though. When the time comes to lift the tail to the body, it is going to take a good half a dozen people to lift it while the test fit is done and to see if it will hold. Cameron is of the opinion it will hold. I think a safety feature should be a crutch for the tail..ya know...just in case.

The paint crew is expected to show up later this week or early next week before the next con.

I wish there was a way to bring it back to Vegas and let Cameron continue as he really seems to know his stuff with regards to fiberglass, woorwork, and other materials to use on a prop.

But, but, but....it would save on the travel time. And think of the folks a flying prop would draw.

Cameron here

The thought crossed my mind believe me But alas the engines are missing and if you look closely at Ariel the fins on the tail are upside down LOL  the wings are to short and I don't want to pull the Hover conversion outa My Delorean

Work Progressed today after sundown and it got nice and cool I took my shop light out and started fiber glassing in the new top rib for the tail connection point. I hate fiberglass LOL my arms still itch

I am kinda wondering where all the Vegas Browncoats are I sure could use more help, buzz is great but we cant lift the Tail by our selves
