I swear, I was channel surfing, I don't usualy watch Lifetime. OK, sometimes, but that's not the point.

Sean and Michelle were in some made for t.v. drama. This is the 1st time I've seen Sean in anything non Firefly related. I know he was on CSI or some such show as a real sicko guy, but I didn't see that.

It was good to see him on screen again. The guy needs to work more, imo.

People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss

Yep, old movie (Dive From Clausen's Pier--July 2005) I kept missing so made a point to watch last night. Gag. Seriously, I love Sean but that movie? He's got a role in the upcoming movie "Wedding March" (I think on A&ETV, this time), and I'm looking forward to seeing that. Just hope it's better than this one was. *shudder*

Big fan of both Sean and Michelle, to the point that I got a download of the movie. Not really my thing, very daytimeish!

Sean was also in an episode of a really awful show called Ghost Whisperer. He played a ghost. Jennifer Love Hewitt was helping him move on. [engage gagging mode] [gagging mode engaged]

Michelle has faired better in the out-of-work-actor stakes. Eurotrip was dire and she was barely in it, but she was great in Mysterious Skin and priceless as Celeste in Six Feet Under.

Interesting side note: I have a friend in Birmingham who is the biggest Michelle fan in the verse. Seriously. He also an avid collector and owns both Dawn's outfit from the Buffy episode 'Conversations with Dead People' and Celeste's dressing gown from one of her Six Feet Under episodes.

I tried watching, but couldn't stomach it. It was sort of interesting to see Sean as dark and brooding, but I didn't really buy it.

My son came in and sat down next to me (he pretends he's not a Browncoat-in-training, but he is) and he says, "That's the Doctor on Serenity." yup, he's a Browncoat.

I aim to misbehave!

Heh heh. Nice!

I only saw the last 10 minutes of the movie, and had absolutely no clue what was going on. Of course it was 'daytimish'! It was LIFETIME! But it was the 1st time I'd seen Sean in anyhting since FF/ Serenity. Oh, and one of the characters Michelle brought up... 'Simon'! Something about sounding like one of his 'pretencious' friends. hee hee! I instantly thought of the scene in SAFE, where Kaylee is eyeing the plate w/ hopes of giving it to Simon as a gift.....(sigh)

Yes, everything relates directly back to Firefly. Sorry, but it's true!

Bear in mind how much I hated the movie.

Select to view spoiler:

Michelle/Carrie and actor/Mike in a car driving somewhere: Michelle/Carrie voiceover, blathering on about how she and Mike and been together for eight years, how it was expected they'd get married (various flashback scenes including one of him getting down on his knees proposing), how love changes, how she didn't love him the same way anymore, how she thought he could tell. She asks something along the lines of "Do we have to go there first? Can't we go somewhere and talk?" He says, "No, we have to start the grill." She sighs. They continue driving. Arrive at pier. All the friends there. Reminiscing about some event that happened long time ago--one of the friends running for a school election, if I remember correctly. Everyone laughing and having a good time except Carrie. She's pouting. Suddenly bursts out, "Grow up! It happened years ago. Why do we always have to rehash it every time we get together." Or something like that. Stunned looks all around. I think her friends had the audacity to call her on her behavior. She stalks off in a snit. Best friend (the blonde, Jamie?) follows her. Mike decides he's going to take a dive off the pier. Carrie & Jamie, walking in the woods, Carrie notices water levels, starts running back to pier, he dives.

You know the rest. Hope that helps!
