It is a great joy for me to come to this site and read awesome fanfics on my favorite Whedon characters. I'd like to know if there is a way to contact various authors of great fanfic to find out how long we're to wait until they complete their writings, i.e. DesertDragon-The Violent Heart series- a phenomenal work, I'm hanging on the edge waiting for the rest... Newgarde-Duet in Three Parts series- a sweet piece of work and the main character has just been dropped off somewhere and I'm panting wondering what he's about to do!
If anyone knows how the authors are and how they are faring with their work, could someone send a wave? I understand these individuals work and play and that they don't get paid for their work here, however, as time goes on...it begins to feel like another FOX cancellation to me, episodes outstanding yet not shown. I thank all of you writers that contribute to this site. I love what you do and how you bring Joss' characters to life for me daily. I love you.

i DO aim to misbehave

Generally, if you click on the name in the By-line it will lead you to their profile page where you can send them a message from FFF.net. I'd advise letting them know you're desperately waiting for the next installment and mentioning what you liked doesn't hurt - all writers LOVE feedback. But don't get pushy. Creativity runs on its own time frame - sad but true.

I found the way, by the sound of your voice--so many things to say.
These are only words. Now I've only words. Once there was a choice.

ARCHER

If you click on the author's nickname next to the story title, it takes you to a page that lists whatever biographical information they have listed on the site as well as a message form that lets you send an email to them from the site.

Fair warning for them such as are messaging me via that route right now, my old email that I used to get my log-in here is no longer valid, so don't think me snobbish if I fail to reply. On the off-chance somebody wants to yak at me and happens to read this, the current email I'm using is archero@SoftHome.net. As soon as I get my new ISP email functional, I'll get the matter cleared up with our generous host.

Enjoy.

There ain't nothin' I can't overcome or come to know. So lay your heavy load down on me, strip everything I have away. I am not your prisoner, I am not afraid.
