hi,

my english is not as good as i want it to be, so...

when watching firefly, i understand the most of the dialogs, but not 100% of the text, so sometimes i miss a joke and so on.

are there somewhere subtitles? i mean english subtitles...

i downloaded the scripts, but subtitles would be MUCH better.

(i really don't want to wait until the dvds are released :-(

thanks a lot

Gabor,
There were no regular subtitles on the show unless you specially set your TV to show them for the hearing impaired. When I watch my VHS tapes of Firefly I can see the subtitles but not on the unofficial DVD's I have or on episodes I have downloaded. It looks like unless you are able to get your hands on the VHS's you'll have to wait for the official DVD's and hope they come with subtitles. *crosses fingers* Hope that helps.

Actually if you already have the scripts on your computer, then subtitling should not take that long. After all you would only need to cut and paste and worry about timing it.

Granted it will be work, but it would not be as bad as imagined.

yes, i'd have to do:

1. strip all the nont-audio info
2. time it

hmmm, maybe i'll do it after watching the series. the problem is that if i do it before watching the episode, i kind of ruin the experience :(
