What about Book and Wash's contracts?

So I've been reading about how everyone signed contracts to do three movies. Did the actors that play Wash and Book also sign for three pics? If so what do you think their roles would be?

Joss has said that for a sequel both characters could be back. He hasn't said how exactly that's supposed to happen except in so far as to rule out magic as the agency involved. Possibilities frequently discussed include flashbacks and ghosts/figments of River's imagination.
