I just found out some crazy trivia

This blew my mind, I have to say.
I was totally a Jewel Staite fan when I was, like, ten.
I watched a really campy show on Nickalodian called Space Cases and the girl from Saturn was my favorite. She had rainbow hair and an imaginary friend and her name was Catalina.
Just checked out a filmography for Jewel. She played Catalina.
Blew. My. Mind.
Got to thinking about it and I think it's really funny that this was a show about a bunch of people living on a ship. Course, they were lost and never left the ship, but still. Jewel must have some sci-fi, live on a ship kind of karma or something.
So very shiny.

That's nothing, I was channel-surfing this morning and came across a slightly-less-old show called "Higher Ground." Among the cast was not only Jewel Stait, but Hayden Christenson

That's right folks, our Big Damn 'Verse is only one degree away from the Star Wars Prequels!

(And Dr. Quinn, actually, by way of Joe Lando.)

hmmm wow, didn't realize that she was also in a SG:Atlantis episode either... Never would have guessed either as soon as I found out she played the half wraith, half human character.

I found a picture of that. She may as well be wearing a mask.
Looks like Adam was in SG-1, though. Also appeared on the X-files (after I stopped watching, of course. Figures) and the Outer Limits, which it looks like our captain was also featured on at one time. I never watched too much of that show; I think I was really young at the time. Man, I feel like a baby.
Another interesting fact I forgot til I double-checked: Catalina on Space Cases was an "engineering genius". Isn't that somethin'?
Have to say, I wish there was nothing connecting our 'verse to the apalling prequels. I used to like Star Wars before that fei-oo came along to ruin it. Jewel sure is a cute goth, though. (found a pic of that, too)
