I am a HUGE Australian sci fi fan, books and vids. I thought i had seen everything.. Until a few months ago I was browsing Kazaa and came across a show called Firefly. IT WAS GREAT!! I now have all the aired episodes and am extremely unhappy that there apparently aint gunna be any more. FOX must be run by moronic, dumbass imbeciles.

cancelling the best show ever.. the fools!

I like Jaynes comment to Mal in ep "safe".. I like smackin'em. Heheh

And about the stupid people running Fox.... isn't News Corp owned by Aussie Rupert Murdoch..?

About the cancelation, yeah, it sucks, but we here are still hopeful that we'll be able to see the few unaired episodes this summer.

You're right, Rupert Murdoch.. I'd forgoten that. I'll have to have a word with him. :)

I read somewhere that Joss Whedon is still looking for a different backer for the show and it still could live again. I dont suppose i'll hold my breath though.

I think someone should publish the e-mail address of the person at FOX most responsible for the decision to axe Firefly so we can all vociferously express our opinions to him/her.

Jayne - You might wanna reconsider that last part. You'see I married me a powerful ugly creature.

Mal - How can you say that! How can you shame me in front of new people.

Ok, those are all the ones I remember well enough to quote/paraphrase off the top of my head for that episode.

Huh? what do you mean "Get a life"?? What's this thing called a life? Can I download it from somewhere?

I'd have to say that "Our Mrs. Reynolds" is pretty much tied with "Out of Gas" as my favorite all-time Firefly episodes.

I particularly like that episode too. I look forward to seeing Safron again in one of the unaired episodes..

By the way I made some enquiries regarding Rupert Murdoch and discovered that he is now officially an American as he was required to get citizenship in order to aquire his media assets. So as you can see, my friend, the ball is now back in your court..Heh

I am a huge Firefly fan and also an Australian.

Being a big fan of Buffy and Angel I had eagerly been waiting for Firefly ever since I heard of it's inception.

And thanks to the miracle of cable internet was able to get the first ep less than a day after it first aired in the states, from that time on I was hooked and now many of my friends are too.

I think if fox had of aired the original pilot first the show may have faired better.

Damn.. I wish I had cable...

I downloaded the entire series on a 56k connection, also have downloaded every episode of Enterprise and Andromeda. Many, many, many Gigs of downloading there, all on 56k. Impressed? :)

Luigi, Buffy & Angel? LOL I refuse to be drawn into suck dribble.. sry thats just me.

I challenge anybody to speak of a show better than Firefly. :)

Yeah Deslea, Adam Baldwin is great. He plays an excellent part, I like in "out of gas" where you see how Jayne joins the crew :)
