where and how do us simple folk get another series of and you can quote me the best tv show ever created!!!! i want more and i think, no i know you guys want more i sure as hell do! so isnt there some way we could, i dont no force someone to make it sorry kind of going with the whole janye idea so "let's be bad guys" so to finish up does anyone konw anything about getting more!

There's only one definite path to more Firefly/Serenity -- introduce everyone you know to the show and get them to buy the DVDs (movie DVD probably more important than series at this point, but heck after they see it they'll probably want to get both anyway). Money talks, and the only thing that will cause a sequel to get made is sales of the DVDs.

thanks, hey dont worry im buying the dvd tomorrow morning first thing coz of the whole damn being in britan and having to wait for it to come out but trust me everyone i know is being constantly told watch firefly!!! will there be any major events held anywhere where us browncoats can meet and party? bit of a silly qustion but i was thinking it would be nice to meet some other people who love firefly!?

The Powers that Be have to be convinced that there is money to be made in the franchise.

Universal first has to make a decision on whether to make a Serenity sequel or not. Universal also owns the SciFi Channel which makes TV/cable shows like Battlestar Galatica, StarGate SG1 and StarGate Atlantis. So there are lots of possibilities at Universal if the Powers there are convinced there is more money to make.

The way we convince them is to make sure the franchise makes money. (without frightening anyone)

If you know enough Browncoats, you can convince a theater to play Serenity...even have a Firefly/Serenity Marathon. A theater just needs to know that they will sell enough tickets to cover the cost of getting the rights/films.

You can watch Firefly when it plays on the SciFi channel and support the sponsors.

You can see if your local libraries have Serenity and if they don't request that they get it.

You can loan out your spare Serenity/Firefly DVDs (if you loan out your only copy...you could be missing them awhile) to friends who may just end up buying their own copies.

Wear a Serenity T-shirt when you go to the movies and other public places.

See the movie Slither when it comes out in March. Nathan Fillion (Captain Mal Reynolds) is playing a sheriff. And Universal made the movie.
