Just a heads up, the Prince Charles Theatre in Leicester Square is playing Serenity Tuesday evening and Thursday afternoon (not sure if its on next week, but it was on the week before).

Missed out myself, but given the ticket prices are gorram cheap for central London and they appear to serve beer, seems a good deal to me. Can't vouch for what the screens are like, but I'm guessing its one of the last chances to see the BDM on the big screen.

Its just off Leicester Square (down one of the side streets).

Tuesday is the evening show - Thursday from memory is about 4pm.

I think tickets will be in the region of £4, which for London prices is pretty good (for any area of the country come to that!).

Looks like this is the last week it's showing. I'll probably be there tonight, then, as work hates me right now and I'll be too busy to take Thursday afternoon off...

I love the Prince Charles, to bits, in fact it a major factor in why I want to move back to London.

The good thing is, if there are enough people seeing it, they'll continue to put it on, or if there are enough requests, they'll do a one off.

I must have seen Donnie Darko there about seven times, and I'm sure its even cheaper than £4, and yes, they serve beer. And theres a ben and Jerry's around the corner, laods of cool little chinese places near by and can you see why I used to go there a hell of a lot?

Fingers crossed that it'll prove popular enough to keep it in rotation -they're still doing the sing-along Sound of Music as far as I know.

Eloisa - learn the art of the effective sickie, paleness, heat, the groaning like you are about to throw, sit next to the radiator for a while, thinking 'dizzy' really hard, then when someone is watching you blanche and run into the ladies, then ask if you can take a half days holidays - if they have any soul at all they'll let you go.

Then again, employers these days... best o' luck

Seryn, wish I could... the problem isn't the boss, it's my own work ethic. I just got landed with three biggish projects, and I'll be pushing the deadlines anyway given how much work there is to do on them, and the only person in the office who can help me just got collared by the MD to pretty up his invitations to a meeting. grrrrrrrr.

Aw, who cares if the work doesn't get done - the BDM is more important!

(they are still doing the sing-along Sound of Music - it's next Thursday, same time as Serenity this Thursday, unless I've misremembered. Miracles can therefore happen...)

Point is moot, as I just got back from tonight's showing. Lord, I love that film. I still think it's the best movie I've ever seen. Not the best film - that's Lost In Translation - but far and away the best movie. And I even thought that when I hadn't seen the series and didn't have any of the background!
