Serenity Soundtrack in 'Film Score'

So I'm looking through magazine and I pick up "Film Score" (Voluem 10 #6 if your interested. and they had an artical on David Neuman and the Serenity Soundtrack.

Basically to sum up one major point in the artical: He said that it was Joss' goal to NOT sound like the series. Yes there are some reminecent bits but the goal was to be different since the movie was different from the series.

Theres more to the artical if anyone wants to check it out next time they're at the bookstore. Just thought I'd share.
