Take Sci-Fi,
Take Cowboy,
Mix 'em with a dash of soy.
Fallen heroes soaring high,
Serenity is Firefly.

The Enterprise is shiny bright,
Galactica is fight and flight,
On Serenity we work the night,
with Captain Mal, his pants too tight.

Big Jayne has a lot of guns,
Kaylee wants to have some fun.
Summer-Rain is crazy keen,
and the Reavers want to eat our spleen.

Inara is a beauty true,
Simon needs to get a clue.
Wash and Zoe, what a pair,
Shepherd Book has scary hair.

At Serenity, we lost the war,
and Blue Sun rules forever more.
But on 'Serenity' we don't appease,
and we all speak bad Chinese.

We rob, we steal, we rustle herd,
Yet we always keep our word.
Nine friends on a rusty boat,
just trying to keep our dreams afloat.
