I switched the last title up to all walk no talk to get some attention hopefully. I will continue to write and get on your nerves I'm sure but someone has to be a catalyst. Look, all I'm saying is our beloved Joss Whedon has chosen a couple movies, Wonder Woman and Goners. Goners may not even be picked up and if it is he's being so secretive that all we know is that is another horror movie. Where's the originality in that? And Wonder Woman? Aren't we getting over saturated with super heroes? Joss Whedon worked for projects like Toy Story and Speed but he never gained credit. No one would really know who he was if it wasn't for Buffy. The fans of Buffy followed him to Angel, which lead them to Firefly. The heart of his career, “The firefly fans, like the buffy and angel fans, like true fans, are just hardcore,” as Joss Whedon stated in an interview. We have followed him through everything and been there along the way through Buffy, Angel, Firefly, and Serenity. We need to remind him of that again and let him know that he owes us the continuation of the Firefly crew. Their story isn't finished and there was no closure in Serenity. The story between Inara and Mal isn't closed. The story about River isn't closed. The story of the Blue Sun isn't closed. The story of the Blue Hand men isn't closed. The story of the revolt that is sure to follow after the fall of the alliance isn't closed. You can't deny another war after the verse witnesses the treatment the "perfect" alliance gave to their citizens. The story of Badger's relationship with Mal isn't closed. The mob boss from the bushwacked episode isn't dead. I could go on for a long time but the point is that there was no closure but doors open for many story lines.

Captain Mal Reynolds - “Love. You can know all the math in the 'Verse, but take a boat in the air you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells ya she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her home.”

“When you can’t run, you crawl, and when you can’t crawl, you find someone to carry you”

I realize that the comics may answer questions sometimes but the point is that it's not closed on the tv or movie screen. More people are willing to watch something rather then read it and if people want to know, the chances are probably better to continue the show for the shows sake if such stories, even ones answered in the comics, are acted out with the crew that we are supposed to be so loyal to.

I want a new sequale just as much if not more then anyone else, but Joss doesn't OWE us. Joss worked just as hard as anyone to get this to happen, and if it doesn't its just as much our fault as his. To ilistrate.

When the show Roswell closed there was just as much outcry from its fans as from firefly, but the writer didn't really care that much. He was content just to let the show go after the secound cancelation. If Joss had been like him we would never have gotten the movie, so BEE-jway. Come down off your high horse and stop acting like Joss is letting the deserving Fans down. He deserves credit for being one of the few writers to say, I like what I write and I want it to continue. We would have much more quality shows on TV if more writers were like him.

If you play Nationstates.net check out the region Firefly.

I was just pointing out to you that those questions above have been answered.

Anyways, Firefly/Serneity isn't dead. Margaret Weis (one of my all time favorite authors; she's a fan too) has produced the Serenity RPG which continues to add expansions to, Whedon is writing a comic series on Firefly/Serenity, and two Firefly/Serenity novels are contracted to be written (I believe they are looking and deciding on authors right now to write them). As long as the franchise keeps growing and it is in no time we will see a movie, mini-series, or even a new television show. We just have to keep supporting and bringing new people in. The more stuff like rpgs, novels, comics, music, etc... that is based off the 'verse we see then the more interested and contact people will have with the franchise and soon enough Captain Malcolm "Mal" Reynolds will be a household name around the world.

Oh, and play Cantr II at www.cantr.net.
