The song is Club Foot by Kasabian. It took me forever to find out what it was, but as soon as I did I downloaded it off iTunes. I love that song and it so fits Serenity even the lyrics:

yep, kasabian :) - "club foot" was actually a free itunes download about a year ago. i bought the album off the amazon marketplace soon after (really great album - if you like "club foot" i'd reccomend the rest - especially "processed beats" - that one's my favorite). i thought it fit perfectly, and the editing was *sweet*...
