This may not be news to anyone, but I just took a look at Amazon.com.
SERENITY is #3 DVD, and Firefly is #5! It's ahead of the "peoples choice" Episode III ROTS, and most of the other supposed favourites. To still be in the top 5 two years or so after the release is rather impressive.
I'm assuming that these are people who have now seen the BDM DVD and been converted, or does everyone here actually now have 1000 copies.

You can check Firefly Amazon.com's sales here www.fireflyfans.net/amazon.asp and you'll see that #5 is worse for Firefly in the past month and a half. In fact it held the #3 spot throughout most of the Christmas season and beyond.
