Not sure if there's an actual survival checklist, but I do know a couple things from the show that'll help your chances of getting by in life:

1) Always have a spare compression coil on hand.

2) Always bring the grenades when you're going out on a job.

3) Be ready for anything. What you plan and what takes place ain't ever exactly similar.

lol @ compression coil...notice in "Ariel", Wash finds one in the junkyand...right after they needed one so badly in "Out of Gas"?....he just tosses it and everytime I'm thinking *wait!!! good idea to have a spare one of those*

someone posted a "survival checklist" for newbies like me that are going though horrible withdrawl...it had stuff like "watch complete series 2x, then watch series with commentary, watch series again, watch River Tam sessions, read comics, watch Serenity"...ect...and ended with "sitting in fetal position in a corner with Blue Sun shirt waiting for next Firefly/Serenity installment"...something like that-

My gorram Firefly dvds are still in the hands of a new convert. That was 2 months ago!!! This is survival of the fittest!!!! Joss will NEED to give me some meagre crumbs soon, or I will hit critical.

Gelassenheit means Serenity

Okay, I like this, I really like this.
1) Watch complete Firefly series

2) Watch complete Firefly series again

3) Watch complete Firefly series, this time with the commentary

4) Watch complete Firefly series a fourth time

5) Watch R.Tam sessions

6) Watch Serenity

7) Watch Serenity with commentary

8) Watch Firefly series and right afterward watch Serenity

9) If you haven't already, watch Firefly bonus features

10)If you haven't already, watch Serenity bonus features

11)See #1, continue on down the list

*12) *For seasoned veterans of #'s 1-11, repeat the list, only this time with a friend.

*13) *For those who "just can't take the lack of Firefly" any more, come to fireflyfans.net and commiserate with fellow, "I just can't take it anymore" Browncoats.

~note, #13 does not just apply to those who "can't take it any longer". Everyone is welcome!
I didn't like the "curl up and wait" idea. This is a proactive list--notice #13.

Wacky fun!

It wouldn't hurt the cause to buy another set

What's helped me is recruiting new Browncoats. Giving or loaning out Firefly and Serenity dvd's (whichever I think will hook them the quickest). The hearing their take on it, the parts that excited them or made them think, compairing to other shows/movies, the mysteries and hi-larity.
Then rewatching it all my ownself.

The book Finding Serenity has helped a bit too, in seeing more of the 'verse than I may have.

And, of course, these forums.

Don't you just love this party? Everything's so fancy, and there's some kind of hot cheese over there.

RCAT, you're right..I've been turning people on to Firefly on other forums..today on SciFi helped alot...happy to say most consider themselves browncoats now- I tried to get people to watch SciFi in case it was somehow tracked and SciFi would see that there are alot of people wanting to see it-
