Here are some facts I want you all to look at.

At Amazon.com the Firefly DVDs(which have been out since Dec. 9 2003) is currently at #3 in their DVD sales ranks. It has been at #3 for 11 days straight and in the Top 10 for for 18 days straight.

Now Serenity has been in the Top 5 since (debuting at #4 and hasn't gone any lower) being released on the 16th of December of 2005. It held the number one spot for 10 days and hasn't gone any lower than #2 for 17 of the 18 days since being released.

Now this doesn't count Serenity's history before preordering and doesn't count Firefly's 2 year history of sales and preorder history (in which in both did extremely well and helped get us Serenity in the first place).

So if this is not just a trend at Amazon.com then I think we don't have much to worry about if sales keep up. If it still looks like this come mid-January then we will be sitting very well in DVD sales. Because at this point every Browncoat (except the ones who hated Serenity) have bought Serenity during week of release and would have had most likely bought Firefly a long, long time ago so this could only mean that hundreds, perhaps thousands more Browncoats are joining our ranks. Soon there could be millions. Remember the more people that join us than the more people they'll expose to Firefly/Serenity which will lead to even more people joining us. It is a snowball effect while slower than what we would like is growing and growing and will continue to do so soon Hollywood could be hearing the marching boots of Browncoats demanding by force to make another movie.(j/king by the way; don't get any ideas)
