And no, not talking about the Europe hit.
(Damn, got that in my head now.)

It seems to be the FINAL FOUR DAYS of Serenity here in the suburb of Marion in the city of Adelaide, which means the LAST SHOWINGS IN AUSTRALIA, the "Battle for South Australia Valley".

Greater Union Marion Megaplex

End of November:

Sunday 27th: 9:00pm.

Monday 28th: 1:30pm, 4:00pm, 6:30pm, 9:00pm.

Tuesday 29th: 1:30pm, 4:00pm, 6:30pm, 9:00pm.

Wednesday 30th: 1:30pm, 4:00pm, 6:30pm, 9:00pm.

If you can, MAKE the time to help keep her in the air! We can still make December if we turn up in droves to the shows!

Browncoats!

Pack the cinemas! Bring a friend! Bring family! Bring a wino/stoner/druggie and pay for a comfy seat for them to rest on for two hours!
(Okay, the last one was a joke, guilty as charged.)

We have Four more days to kick some arse and fill seats and Box Office Gross! 13 showings! One for each Firefly episode made!

One last time to show the bigwigs that Firefly isn't just a show a "few people saw", but a show that "a lotta people LOVED"!

How many movies you can think of made 64 days in the cinema, regardless of which sized rooms?

The Matrix Trilogy? Nope.
Lord Of The Rings Trilogy? Nope.

And the longer it lasts, the bigger the message!

Maybe I'm just overenthusiastic about a fictional show, but gorramit, it's lightning in a bottle! Only the FEW managed that with their TV shows! Who wants this to shrivel and die?

FOUR days people!

Let's aim to misbehave!

Aussie! Aussie! Aussie!

Oi! Oi! Oi!

Fire! Fly! Fire! Fly!

Aussie! Aussie! Aussie!

OI! OI! OI!

"Hey, support it best you can! I believe supporting this as far as we can will get Serenity restarted. Right now seems VERY "Out Of Gas", and the Fans are Mal. We need to get her running to get the Big Damn Button pushed."

"I don't care what you believe in! Just BELIEVE!"

Go Aussies!!!

The United States is holding!!!

Serenity in a theater in Idaho, USA December 18th.

Hey, Aussies, find out if your theaters show open cationed versions of movies.

Open captioning converts a movie's dialogue, noises and sound effects into white text, and superimposes it over the screen images. The sound is normal, and the captions are visible to all. Unlike TV’s closed-captioned text, open captioning is not surrounded by clunky black boxes. Instead, captions are more artistically integrated onto the screen.

There are currently 6 open captioned Serenitys roaming the United States. They play two days at a First-run theater and then go to the next theater. Maybe you could start them roaming your country too!!

They show Open-Captioned films here, but this is a small state, so I doubt ALL films could find themselves OCed here.

As for Serenity, I use my local information to find out sessions - the biggest cinemas' timetables to the city newspaper.

And it looks like Marion is the Last Man Standing here in Australia!
(And WHO bet on Sydney or Melbourne having the last ones? Hmm? Hmm? )
