Sci-Fi grows a brain (and a pair) and puts their Prime-time line-up on another day other than Friday (one that doesn't have a strong network line-up, like Monday or Tuesday))...they (NBC Universal) acquires all rights to Firefly (I guess they have some since they are currently playing it on Sci-Fi and Universal released Serenity (as everyone knows)) and sets it up this way: 8 - SG1 (or whatever they want, I don't really care), 9 - Battlestar Galatica (new episodes), and then finally at 10 - Firefly (new episodes).

Now everyone has seen that fan-support has provided BSG with the best numbers the Sci-Fi channel has ever received. Now imagine a line-up as strong as that one a weeknight (when everyone is home) and they could do seriously very well.

Marketing is also key. They need to show the general public that their shows are not like Star Trek or Star Wars. That the shows are based on human drama and not futuristic technology.

Of course this probably won't happen since we have a bunch of chimps working at the networks...oh well, I can dream
