Just saw a tv ad for a tv movie (NBC?) for the remake of the Poseidon Adventure... with our own Hero of Canton... Adam Baldwin featured prominently.

We should all try to support our Hero and watch the show.

I am looking forward to seeing Adam in the new Poseidan Adventure. Adam will be playing Mike Rogo.

i wouldn mind seeing our hero of canton in a slightly different character, i think that serenity/firefly has really opened doors for him. not to mention summer *sigh*. whos now on that upcoming series mammoth, i think it was on sci-fi dont remembers

anyways im also here to annoy you guys with some charity work, i know that im getting in the way but, i feel like i gotta do this, so help the post pals to make it a happier Xmas

I'll be a dissenting vote here: I see absolutely no point at all in remaking that film. The original stands on its own in the context of the disaster-movie craze of that time. I consider any re-make to be utter cheeze, yet another fearful shying away from actually risking making good and original material.

Good on Adam for landing the part, but I'll pass.
