What is your most fav. episode and least fav. episode?

It's hard to pick one of them as my top fav. I really like The Train Job, Bushwacked, Our Mrs. Reybolds, Jaynestown, Ariel, Trash, and Objects In Space the most of the eps. Out of them I think at the moment my fav is Ariel.

Ariel I really like because it seems more dramatic than most (if not all) the other episodes. Having Simon get in on the criminal action with that plan. Shows how he can be like a criminal mastermind pretty much. Then when they get into the hospital and Simon finds out they took out a part of her brain, wich from what I can tell seems to be a big part of why she can read minds and stuff now.

Also really liked (and hate at the same time) that it shows Jayne really can't be trusted. That his greed will get the better than him, or atleast it can. Also with Jayne in this episode I love at the end of the episode where Mal seems like he is going to let him die, Jayne really shows that he cares about what the rest of the crew think of him. That he regrets going to the feds. I think especially after SImon gave his thanks to him. It just really showed the true Jayne.

Now for the last thing I really like in this episode is the Hand of Blue guys. They with their little blue glow killing stick thingy, added some really good drama I'd say. And really showed that these guys seem to have no heart or mercy or any thing. Also now watching that episode after I've seen the movie, the reason why those Hands of Blue guys killed every one that talked to River makes sense. Cause they wanted to keep the secret a secret, therefore killing every one that has talked to River just in case if she said what the big secret was.

OK! Now onto the episode I don't like the most...

Shindig episode I just don't like at all really. I've watched it like 4 or 5 times and I just don't like it. Nothing really important happens in this episode that really effects any thing down the line that I know of. And really just kind of a boreing episode for me. Couple other episodes I don't care for all that much, but this is the only one I really just don't like.

LOGGERHEAD

Out of Gas is the best episode. Loads of backstory, Mal and the crew at their best and worst.

Jaynestown is funny but probably the episode with the least going for it. Being a least favorite in a lineup this strong is nothing to be ashamed of, though.

BTW, your signature (and many other signatures, quotes, and quips on this site) could certainly be a spoiler. Not that it matters as we enter the movie's second weekend. ;-)

DONCOAT

Favorites: Ariel (for all the reasons given above, and also for its wonderfully hopeful ending), and Objects In Space (clearly the most deeply layered and thoughtful episode, and again a terrific blast of optimism near the end).

Least Favorite: Bushwhacked. Nothing much happens, except we get an introduction to the Reavers (only necessary because the original pilot wasn't shown) and some character development in the interviews (ditto).

Then again, the weakest episode of Firefly was better than the best of almost any other SF series.
