With the success of ABC's LOST, network execs & writers have been scrambling to produce a clone as can be witnessed by this season's snoozers such as INVASION, SUPERNATURAL, SURFACE, and even GHOST WHISPERER and NIGHTSTALKER (part deux) can be said to have it's roots in the rush to mimic LOST.

One can imagine the scene when Josh Whedon approaches the executroids once again with a FIREFLY revival, they scratch their heads and say,
"Well, can't you make it sort of a (wait for it..., here it comes...) LOST - in Space"?

hmmmm... Ghost Whisperer is more like that other one with Patricia Arquette - NBC's Medium... and isn't Nightstalker sort of a morph between Medium, and kind of CSI'ish? There's also a whole bunch of CSI/Jordon crossing look-alikes running around too...

Don't be too hasty, you might see the Cap in a CSI/Crime drama in space...
