SOFTFLAME

My local paper, the Sacramento Bee, hasn't published any reviews or even showtimes in either print or electronic format. Help me give em hell! Send an email to webmaster@sacbee.com (subject: SacTicket) and pester them to post the theater showtimes (three theaters with Sacramento zip code 95825 are playing Serenity on opening day).

Thanks so much.

My email:
I have always loved the convenience of SacTicket's showtime listings. This site is by far the best in the area and has been my favorite... Until this week.

I was wondering why you have no mention of upcoming film "Serenity" directed by Joss Whedon in either your print or electronic section. The film comes out this Friday, Sept. 30th, and thousands of fans in the Sacramento area have been eagerly awaiting this film for years. Its fan base is such that the once-failed TV show "Firefly" has come back as a major motion picture. That fight alone is worth some coverage. Find out more here: http://www.serenitymovie.com/nonflash_site/pn_3.html )

Please post showtimes and reviews as soon as you can. Thank you!

Hi SoftFlame

I don't live in the Sacramento area so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, but from all my theater experience it's not unusual that there are no times for the BDM in your paper yet. Your local theaters might still not have decided on Friday's showings so maybe that's why there's nothing in your paper yet. I just did a search on Fandango for theaters in my area and only one theater has times listed for Friday.
