Augusta, GA help please!

Are there any BC's here from the Augusta, Georgia area? That means also the surrounding counties (i.e. Lincoln, Richmond, Columbia, Mc Duffie, Wilkes, Burke, etc.) Also, is there anything planned for the Augusta area? I have tried looking and asking elsewhere, but it seems that most of the get-togethers in Georgia are mostly in the Atlanta area. I know that Serenity should be playing at the Regal Augusta Exchange. I just would like to conenct with fans from my neck of the woods so to speak.
Anyone out there???

I live in Aiken, SC, just outside of Augusta.

But I'm going to Raleigh for the North Carolina Big Damn Movie Premiere Party.

You're more than welcome to join us.

And if anyone wants to get together the week after the premiere to go see it again, let me know. I seriously doubt it'll be playing at our one rinkydink theater here in Aiken.

Also-glad to know I'm not the one Browncoat in the area!

Wow! This is so great! To know that there really are Browncoats down this way is awesome. I live in Lincolnton (yes...the sticks) and my husband and I have been debating on whether to make the trek to the Reagl on Friday or wait 'til Saturday. Main cunundrum: Go to Serenity on Friday---miss Firefly on Sci-fi at 7pm.

We juct moved here about a year and a half ago and really haven't met anyone. To know that there are people in the area that share interests with us is groovy.

CheapJoe: give me the lowdown. You can message me, or let me know and i'll send ya my e-mail addy.

CallMeSerenity: I wish that I could travel like you to go to a really big screening, but with gas prices and all...you know. But I am a Moderator at SaveAngel.org, where I moderate the Firefly/Serenity forum and am urging everyone to go see Serenity the first and second weeks it's out. Kudos to you for doing the same. Maybe we can get together the second week. And I hope that you have loads of fun at the Raleigh screening!
