Forgive this bit of prose that came to me, but I feel it appropriate due to the circumstances! And yes, a bit of plaigarism on my part (Sorry, Mr. Herbert).

Once I dreamt of futures and stars,
Of freedom lost and freedom found.

I witnessed the dreams of another given form,
and watched it fade away.

I have seen it's light flutter and finally shine,
of others join together to share it's warmth.

I have seen fellows join our fire,
and bask in our companionship.

It has been a time of joy
and frustration, and a time of anger

We have hoped and dreamed our own dreams,
sharing the inspiration of another.

Now, we sit at the culmination of our hopes,
our toil and our trials.

Our dream is soon to be realized, and
we may not be alone in our ponderings.

And for all others yet to join our fellowship,
"The Dreamer has awakened."
