Hi all,

Anime Weekend Atlanta is next weekend, Sept 23-25 ( http://www.awa-con.com/ ). I have scored the SEBC (same group that ran the table at Dragon-Con) fan table.
This is the last local con before Serenity, and its a chance to get a different
demographic than Dragon-Con.

I won't be able to work the table at all Friday. Due to work, I won't
make it to the con until 7:00pm.

Please email me if you would like to volunteer to man the table (techiecl AT gmail DOT com). Mostly it will be to coax people coming into the dealer's room to take some freebies and talk upFirefly / Serenity.

Here are the guidelines I recieved from the convention

"Tables will be located in Exhibit Hall C at the Cobb Galleria Centre.

The operating hours for the Dealers Room are as follows:
Friday, September 23: 12:00pm-6:00pm
Saturday, September 24: 10:00am-6:00pm
Sunday, September 25: 10:00am- 5:00pm

AWA Fan Tables will follow the same hours as the dealer's room.

You will be given a special entry pass for setup. This pass will allow
you entry into the dealers room before it opens and when it closes to
allow for setup and for takedown.

Two entry passes will be given per table.

One Fan Table will be assigned per group or organization.

Each table will have two chairs.

AWA does not provide power for Fan Tables. To apply for power, you
must fill out a form and send payment to Cobb Galleria Centre.

AWA Fan Tables can not be used to sell weapons, or to make items to be
sold at the table."

TECHIECL

Last year, when I ran a fan table through the artist's alley, I had a great response from the crowd. Only once did someone negatively compare it to Cowboy Bebop & Outlaw Star. So, I'm confident I'll have a lot of succces this year.

Though I'm hoping for some more help. So far I've only 3 confirmed people to lend a hand....

To make a big splash at Anime Weekend Atlanta, I will be giving away
100 CD's burned with

The 5 River Tam Sessions
The 3 Trailers
The 2 TV Spots
The Featurette "Serenity: Inside Look"

This is in addition to the various flyers and mini-posters etc that
are also free.

I ask that Browncoats showing up be mindful to newbies and let the
unconverted take them.

Cool guy!

And there was sweet lady that is making me a browncoat! And I got boots!

$120 for the coat and she says she can have it delivered to me in Orlando before the Premier!
