If anyone is in or around Maryland, dpwac has shelled out of pocket to set up a Fan Table at the Baltimore Comic Convention this weekend. We are looking for folks that are willing to dress up in Browncoat garb and hand out flyers infront of the Baltimore Convention Center through out the day. We've got one person, elperrosato, who will be decked out. Anyone and everyone interested is welcome.

Universal is having a room that includes Serenity posters and dpwac has done a nice job of putting together a variety of give aways at our table. We are going to be small, but we plan on running the Firefly episodes on a laptop and talking up both Firefly and Serenity to anyone that will listen. We are also auctioning off Firefly DVD sets and Serenity Comic Books for Charity. ALL proceeds are to go to Katrina Relief funds (All funds will be split between Salvation Army and one other). If you are from the area, in the area, or know anyone in the area please pass the word or feel free to stop to help or just hang out. Take care and have a great one.
