Good morning Browncoats!

I should have posted all of this sooner, but things never go smooth! In mere moments I have to rush out the door and finish the booth preparation and get ready for the opening bell at 1:00 PM Eastern today.

I wanted to let all the attendees (or at least the ones who have Internet access and happen to be checking the boards) know that Margaret Weis Productions is here! The Serenity Role Playing Game is here, looking mighty shiny indeed.

We have a number of people around who would be happy to sign copies of the book, incuding myself (Jamie Chambers), Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman, 11th Hour, and Lindsay Archer.

Please look for us at Booth #608, the one with the minty-fresh green backdrop and the massive "MW" letters. We're looking forward to seeing everyone!

Thanks for taking my questions

The game I am starting to run had a question pop up.

Two fisted left us with the impression that a person could do something with both hands with no penalty. The player wanted to use two guns (Too much Replacement Killers) against two targets.

I made the choice that this could be done this way.

You may use as one of your two declared actions shoot one of the men you wanted to shoot with both gun,and then take a defensive action.

Or You could shoot two men but that counted as both of your actions and would leave you open to a counter attack.



Also another topic was the idea of a asset for Ships called Smuggler's hold. (Minor/Major)

Minor allows a -2 step against someone trying to find the hidden compartment.

Major allowed a -4 step against someone trying to find the hidden copartment(s)

reasoning that a ship that has the Everyone has one compliaction would be able to use this asset to hide their illegal cargo right under the nose of most passangers and maybe even under the nose of a active search.

Is there any chance you will have time to write up a Designer's Notes article describing the trials and tribulations of development and the things were you forced to leave out for lack of time and space? If one is included with the book, never mind (I'll read it when my order gets in), but I'm really interested in how much direct input Joss and company had and how much was your extrapolation from available information.
