Holy cow! I just spotted Bruce Campbell!

So I was walking into the Governor Hotel, where my employer's office currently is, and while going through the lobby a man passed by going out with his bags. I only got a second's glance at his face and my first thought was, "Wow, that guy looks a lot like Bruce Campbell!" It's only as I was going up in the elevator that I realized that Bruce is currently on a book tour and that maybe Portland is one of his stops. So as soon as I could I jumped online for his tour schedule. Sure enough, June 29th, Portland, OR! A (very short) brush with greatness!

You should'a pulled a one liner from Army of Darkness on him, or maybe go into an elvis voice and talk about mummies. I'm sure he'd think it would be pretty neat since Bruce is a great guy. I've never met him for real...but I sure do love a good celebrity stalking.

Unfortunately, it looked like he was dashing out to head to the airport or somesuch. As I said, it didn't even register with me that it was actually him until way too late. Anyhow, I probably would have only been able to talk to him about "The Adventures of Briscoe County, Jr.", so maybe it's for the best that he escaped.

You should have tackled him, people like that, especially celebrities. But seriously I met him at the book signing he did in Philadelphia a few weeks back. He's really cool I got a picture with him as well as my book signed. I wanted to ask him something but I forgot how to make words and stuff while he was signing my book. Still kinda cool though.

He owns a 200 acer ranch in oregon. I meet him at the premire of bubba ho tep here in NYC. We talked about oregon. Got my picture with him as well.
